20 Week Triathlon Prep


With a BSc in Sport and Exercise Science combined with a wealth of experience gained from both completing and training triathletes and Ironmen, Gus Barton provides a Triathlon Prepprogrammee individually tailored to athletes of any level. Whether it’s your first sprint or your 10th Ironman, this plan will guarantee you’re at your optimum level come race day.

Following an initial consultation questionnaire and a Skype call, a 20-week plan will be tailored to your specific experience, fitness level, medical history and training equipment availability.


The 20-week Triathlon Prep Programme will be delivered virtually via online platforms and will break down each week into individual training days. It will be accessible from wherever you are on both laptop and mobile phones.

Programme Details:

  • 20-week online programme
  • One 60 minute Skype call
  • Unlimited email and text communication
  • 5-6 weekly training and recovery sessions
  • Individually tailored weekly programmes based on progress and body condition
  • Week before race day – Skype calls will increase to 3/week and will focus on any areas of concern to you

  • Improve your aerobic capacity
  • Remove muscular imbalances and activate key areas
  • Improve efficiency of all 3 facets
  • Provide a simple, systematic and structured training program
