Winter Athletic Living Retreat

SWISS ALPS · SMALL GROUP · SELECTED WINTER DATES

A small-group winter retreat built around movement, outdoor challenge, recovery and the principles of Athletic Living.

Previous Swiss editions have been hosted in Saas-Fee, surrounded by 4,000-metre peaks and some of the most spectacular alpine terrain in Europe. Each new edition is deliberately intimate, with the location, schedule and coaching shaped around the group rather than a fixed fitness-holiday formula.

The Experience

The retreat combines coached training with time in the mountains: strength and conditioning, boxing, running, mobility, recovery and outdoor challenges shaped by the weather, terrain and ability of the group.

There is also time to step away from normal routines. Coaching conversations and practical workshops explore training, recovery, habits, focus and how the principles of Athletic Living can travel home with you.

Previous Swiss editions have included snowshoeing, glacier hikes, daily training and recovery at a five-star alpine hotel. The exact programme changes with each edition. The point is not to make every hour busy; it is to create a few memorable days that leave you feeling sharper, stronger and properly reset.

WINTER ATHLETIC LIVING RETREAT

Dates, Swiss location and the exact programme vary by edition. Group size is deliberately small so the coaching can remain personal.

Expect a blend of daily training, outdoor mountain sessions, recovery, practical workshops, good food and enough unscheduled time to actually enjoy being in the Alps.

A Previous Swiss Edition

Saas-Fee · The Capra

A previous Winter Athletic Living Retreat took place in Saas-Fee, an alpine village 1,800 metres above sea level and surrounded by eighteen 4,000-metre peaks.

The group stayed at The Capra, a five-star alpine lodge where days moved between coached training, outdoor mountain work, workshops, shared meals and recovery. Snowshoeing and glacier hiking added the sort of challenge that is difficult to reproduce in a normal gym — which is precisely why the mountains work so well for this format.

The photographs below are from that edition. Future retreats may use different Swiss locations and properties while keeping the same underlying idea: serious coaching, beautiful surroundings, a small group and enough space to reset properly.
