Day 9 – Skill Development

Developing a wide range of physical skills is the most rewarding element of training for me. My background is in sports, not bodybuilding, so I am biased towards moving and performance more than pure vanity and ‘aesthetic’ training.

The thing is, there doesn’t need to be a choice, though. Yes, like me, you can train purely for health or performance, or you can do what I do with the vast majority of my clients, which is to train athletically AND to precisely sculpt the body at the same time. In lessons 12 and 13, I will share tips, insights and workouts to sculpt your body while sticking to a holistic athletic philosophy.

Developing skills involves developing coordination and one or more of the other pillars. These skills can come from athletics, climbing, gymnastics, dance, combat, mountain and ocean sports, or any sporting activity. You taking up a new sport during this course is one of my biggest hopes. There will be a multitude of social, psychological, and physiological benefits for you.

My personal favourite skill-based activity is martial arts. As many of you are reading this are also NUK SOO  members, then you know why! For those unfamiliar with NUK SOO™,  it’s my online 90-day immersive workout and mental development challenge that uses a lot of combat striking and fight conditioning exercises. The whole workout is based on what I do with Actors and Actresses preparing for action films, so it’s very much geared towards anyone wanting a dramatic mindset & body transformation too.

For the purpose of the lesson, I’d love for you to try it… You have two options; Buy it and start it for real with a free no-obligation 3-day trial.. or you can access my free 5-day ” Warrior Challenge” which is inspired by NUK SOO. For more info on NUK SOO and its distinctive philosophy, please watch the video below.
